Project brief: 
The client is an American, globally recognised lawyer. Client’s brief was to renovate this beautiful 5,000 sq ft heritage building to create a comfortable, welcoming home for overseas guests wishing to enjoy a truly British experience.

Project description:
Planning permission was achieved against all odds, to add a top floor and a garden terrace above, also upgrade external windows to improve heat insulations, bespoke traditional features were added to front door area.  Three floors were completely re-organised, re-locating bathrooms, bathrooms and dressing rooms. All internal floors were removed, prime European Oak knot-free and grain-free was imported and polished to create a beautiful bespoke wood floor and traditional wall panelling was renovated to compliment the homes existing original features.

Interior decoration schemes were prepared for all rooms to include wallcoverings, window treatments and lighting which included bespoke silk wallpaper, traditional quintessential English silk fabrics, British antiques and furniture handmade in Britain.  Bespoke joinery was designed to accommodate to welcome visitors contents and display shelves to accommodate collectibles to make guests feel at home.

Project outcome:
Traditional quintessential English silk fabrics were used to dress the large bedroom window. Bespoke joinery was designed to accommodate visitors luggage and display shelves to accommodate collectibles to make guests feel at home. Prime European Oak was imported and polished to create a beautiful bespoke wood floor and traditional wall paneling was designed to compliment the homes existing original features.
